These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Reco, an AI-powered review assistant for Shopify stores. By installing or using Reco, you agree to these terms on behalf of the business or organization that operates the Shopify store.

Use of Reco

• You may use Reco to display a product question-and-answer widget powered by product and review information you provide or connect.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your store content, review data, and use of Reco comply with applicable laws and platform rules.
• You must not use Reco to submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, harmful, or sensitive personal information.

AI-generated content

Reco uses AI systems to generate answers from available product and review data. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Merchants are responsible for reviewing how Reco appears on their storefront and ensuring that product, policy, and compliance information shown to shoppers is accurate.

Merchant content and data

You retain ownership of your store content, product information, and reviews. You grant Reco the limited right to process this content to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or modify Reco as needed to improve the service, address security or reliability concerns, or comply with platform requirements. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Fees and billing

Any paid plan, trial, or subscription will be presented through Shopify-approved billing or pricing flows where required. You are responsible for charges accepted through Shopify or another approved billing process.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reco is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
